We begin the Christmas season with an Outdoor Advent Wreath which remains lit throughout the season. "Bring an hors d'oeuvre" is the rallying cry for all the traditional Christmas gatherings - the family Christmas Party, Christmas Caroling, Children's Christmas Pageant, and two Christmas Eve services followed by champagne receptions. Dinners for Eight give parishoners a chance to socialize with each other and their rector. The Men's Group has transferred the Moveable Feast of Groundhog Day to their Annual Steak Supper. Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Talent Show is celebrated during the same week as the Mardi Gras Festival. We traditionally mark Lenten observance with weekly Lenten Soup Suppers and study. Our Easter celebration includes an Easter Vigil, Sunrise Service, Easter Breakfast, and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. A September Cookout is traditionally hosted at the Daltonwood farm. During the Fayetteville Host of Christmas Past weekend, we offer food and baked goods for sale at our Country Store. Fellowship breakfast is held at a local restaurant following the early service. Coffee hour following the late service allows parishoners to welcome newcomers and enjoy the fellowship.
